Yes. Something different.
Need to do a few things in life that require pictures, so I decided to try an idea that popped in my head while I was watching a movie (Boogeyman 3 sucks so much) I swear it took me 3 hours to do this, mainly because of the black like in the wings (This was done with markers).
Overall, I like how this turned out. Nice to do a non-expansion pic and let my mind flow with ideas.

Vision Originality Technique
ImpactFirst off, I love the color usage in this picture. It livens up any room the moment you set eyes on it.
The dark lines between the colors contrast sharply with the rest of the picture, adding to it instead of standing out like they would in a B&W sketch.
I especially love the greens you used here, the fact the markers were lighter in some spots actually adds to the realism of the piece.
The fact you are showing her right after she emerges from her cocoon gives a nice touch, as though to say "Life can be tough, but look at how beautiful it can make one."
Wonderful job on this one.
